I'm planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas. We're planning to go in early February. Where should I stay? What should we do?

Please know this is not to put a damper on your trip or scare you in any way only to give you advise I wish I had known. I've been to Mexico over 16 times love it there the people are great. I was in Cabo
at the end of September and I won't go into all the details but I was attacked and robbed left in an underground sump hole for 32 hours in the pitch black and the doctors at the hospital said I would have died if I had been left 6 more hours (due to my injuries and no water). This could happen in any country not just Mexico but my advise is to make sure to stay together this happened at my 5 star
hotel on the way to my room from the pool in the afternoon I was grabbed in the stairway and thrown into the basement. So even at your hotel stay together had we been given this advise I know none of
this would have happened to us. I just wanted to tell you because most everyone feels it's safe at the
hotel to walk around alone and I now know if you're a woman it is not. But like I said this could have
happened anywhere and I personally love Mexico and the Mexican people be smart and you'll have a great time. Enjoy!!
