Can anyone recommend a good book series?
I'm afraid I've run out of things to read, and need another series to get hooked on. I'm into fantasy and action books (Maybe a tad bit of romance depending on my mood). I've read popular book series like Harry Potter (JK Rowling), The Mortal Instruments/Infernal Devices (Cassandra Clare), Twilight (-.-; Hated it), and the Ranger's Apprentice series.

To add to the list of what others have given you, how about a blast from the past? "Little House in the Big Woods"? It's an autobiography of a pioneer girl named Laura Ingels Wilder. It's the first in at least a seven book series. (Probably longer, but it's been years since I read it.) The next one is one you might recognize from an old TV show - "Little House on the Prairie." (The TV show took off from the books, and most of them were fiction.) The family moved a few times for different reasons, but it's quite the adventure book looking back to those days. I know she thought it was just a story about growing up, but we have things like bathrooms, electricity, and other people building our homes for us now, so her life is still quite the adventure compared to now.

I've read all of those books you've listed too. The Ranger's Apprentace series was okay until the seventh book where it seemed I could pradict what happened next in the book. Here are some of my favorites.
Dresden Files by Jim Butcher (My favorite series where Harry Dresden is my all time favorite book character. You must Read This series!"
The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson (One book out right now in the series but it is 1100+ pages long so it will keep you occupied for a while.)
The Valdamar Series by Mercedes Lackey (there are about 13 trilogys and 7 individual novels in this massive series it starts with The Black Gryphon. Highly recomend these books.)
The Farseer Trilogy, The Liveship Trilogy, The Rainwild Chronicles, The Godlen Fool trilogy all by Robin Hobb (Read them in that order because it takes place in the same world...though you wouldn't know it. I don't like the Soldiers Son trilogy but read that last of all if you have to.)
The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore (I'd only recomend those three books because the rest sort of suck...accept for the Clarical Quintet.)
That should be enough for a couple of years worth of reading.

The Hunger Games series is the best series ever! I dont even want to tell you what it's about because I want everything to be a surprise. I'm telling you right now I've never met a person who didn't absolutely love The Hunger Games. It's action and fantasy with touch of romance, you would love it.
Another really good book is The Book Thief, but it isn't a series. The author is Mark Zusak. It's totally unique because the narrator is death and It takes place in Nazi Germany. This is my all time favorite book. It's a more challenging read and uses alot of poetic devices so it describes things alot better.
Hope I helped!

Hi, you might want to try my fantasy series, entitled The Tales of Tanglewood, lightly influenced by Irish folklore and Celtic mythology. The first two books in the series are called "The Lon Dubh Whistle" and "The Curse of Satyr Stump"
You can download the first few chapters of each book for free at talesoftanglewood.com
Within the pages of the book, readers will discover Colin, a child who is fully aware of the hidden world of myth and wonder hiding within the woods just beyond his home, long kept secret by old magic. Only the fey magic which runs through his veins has enabled Colin to find what others cannot; the Tanglewood, the 'wood within the woods.
Full of odd characters and creatures of the fey, the Tanglewood is a world of magnificent folklore come to life. As Colin begins to explore the Tanglewood, he will find friendship with the ferrish Ailfrid, the elfin girl Deidre, and Doc Muffingrow, a wise druid.
In the first book, Colin will also find that there is much magic in himself, as well as dangerous enemies who will not let him find solace in the wood so easily. Ailil, King of the Sprites and ruler of The Below, has laid claim to his spirit, and Colin will need the help of his friends and quite a bit of magic to save himself.
You can check out the reviews at Amazon.com and both books are also available on the Amazon Kindle at a low price.

I've really enjoyed the 3 different series (Howl, Briar Creek Vamps, and Sirens) by Jody and Jayme Morse. But Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs is really good too. Its the start of the Medusa Girls series.
However, you should definitely read the Shadow Falls series (SO ADDICTING) by C.C. Hunter
