Should kings trade Demarcus Cousins to the Spurs?

From everything we can all tell that Cousins and the kings need to find a trade, and the perfect place for him to go is to San Antonio. The spurs can offer some players, draft picks, and bring in non-wanted Kings salary for Cousins. That would be the best situation for Demarcus because he would have a mentor like Tim Duncan that can teach him how to be professional, a coach in Gregg Popovich who is good with personalities and teammates like Tony Parker & Manu who can also teach him.

Trade scenario

Spurs get:

1.Demarcus Cousins

2. John Salmon

Kings get:

1. 2013 Spurs 1st rd pick

2. Thiago Splitter

3. Nando de Colo

The kings would literally get nothing back. Literally. A pick in the first round (prob 25-30) and decent bench warmers.

    Spurs get:

    Demarcus cousins

    Tyler Honeycutt

    King gets:

    Kawhi Leonard

    2013 & 2014 first round picks

    Stephen Jackson

The kings need a trade like that but no way SA does that. They'd lose too much.

No, not to the Spurs. Being a Kings fan, I agree DeMarcus Cousins needs to go. He is such a talented player but doesn't have the right mentor to look up to.

A great trade which would benefit both teams is:

Kings send Cousins and Evans & future 1st round pick.

Boston sens Paul Pierce and Bradley Avery to the Kings.

It works financially plus the Kings will get a true point guard, and a great SF which they haven't had since Peja.

The Celtics would get much needed help in the middle and KG & Rondo would help Cousins improve his maturity.

truthfully I gaurantee the Lakers would be Western Champs, no question.... Mavs not at all win, they constantly choke in playoffs Spurs, they are too previous Thunder perhaps yet too youthful (adventure concerns in NBA), while Kobe retires, sure Blazers no longer adequate dominant gamers Rockets (come on, Yao should not be healthful) No offense yet you will be able to slightly naive in NBA, i'm bulls fan and No there basically 3 communities with a shot on the call next three hundred and sixty 5 days......Lakers, warmth, and Celtics.. Thats purely how the NBA is. learn the different communities you listed to those.. The 12 guy on those temas are extra powerful than the fifth guy on a number of them. you recognize basketball that's sturdy, yet after watching for longer classes of time, yo uwill see what I advise, NBA is approximately historic previous, adventure, and intensity. All 3 element into prevailing. reason Celtics and Lakers have a million/2 of the leagues NBA championships. Miami will pass chicago regrettably this decade.....

  • The Spurs system requires players with high basketball IQ's, Cousins does not have a high IQ. Also, how the hell would the Spurs get him without even giving up Kawhi Leonard?

I would say this is perfect.
