I have a problem with my answers. Is storytime during giving answers bad?

WHenver asking questions, I ALWAYs give stories about my own life, often as the main topic or body paragraph of my answers. If you can see my profile( i have no idea if you can) youll see that most of my answers involve sharing personal data. Of course im not giving away my address or full name or anything, but still. I will make comparisons between something that happened to me, etc etc etc.

So, Is it bad to constantly tell these stories? Am i giving too much data about myself? Or am I simply not helping with my stories? Usually my stories are connected to the question.

SECONDLY, almost ALL of my answers are MULTIPLE PARAGRAPHS LONG.

Should I not be making my responces so long? Most people seem to give answers only a few sentences long.

In gay and lesbian cause I always answer in gay and lesbian.

    If you feel that you need to type 3 paragraphs so the answerers can understand what your question is then continue typing 3 paragraphs. If the only way to explain your issue or question is by connecting it with your personal life, then continue doing so.

    I am like you.

    I do so in attempting to be as clear as I can with my answer.

    Providing your trying to be as accurate as possible, its good.

    I personally get annoyed when people post one line half thought out answers.
