So I've spoken to a good portion of homosexuals, particularly via the internet, and I enjoy asking them about their preferences. It's fun to look for patterns, or unique things.

I've noticed what many people probably do, and thats a heavy handed discrimination among white and asian individuals against black people

And a general preference among individuals for Caucasians, with Latino's, East asians, & other light skinned non-whites coming slightly behind.

A lot of people theorize that preferences like this mainly come from social stereotyping, and is only somewhat biologically based.

I'm not sure how much I support that view, but I relatively suppose it is true. Regardless, it is a subconscious thing that one cannot shed simply by knowledge of it's origin.

(And yes, it is not JUST stereotyping, biologically difference races have differing types of facial structure, body structure, and yes it's fully possible for the average perception of what is physically attractive for gay males to suppose white males as more attractive than black males based on biology alone.

There are still guys who prefer blacks over whites, but they are in a minority. Actually, based on my observations, white males who are even willing to date blacks seem to be a minority.

Personally, I have a preference for asians. Somewhat mild, I still like other races, particularly lighter skinned ones(Like whites :/), almost as much as asians. But asians win out.

Looking up about this sexual preference, I notice some trends. There seems to be a cultural trend in the gay community to denotate specific men as "rice queens".

The characteristics of a rice queen are:

Older non-asian men who prefer asian males, typically using stereotyping to prefer their asians males as submissive, bottoms, younger.

This is often viewed quite negatively, and it's associated with demoralization, objectification, & sexualization.

My own asian preference seems distinctly different.

I prefer OLDER asian males(I'm 16 and I constantly flirt with 20-23 year old asians, college aged), I generally prefer more dominant individuals(I am a versatile w. a preference for bottoming, like most gays I suppose)

Still, I feel my preference could come in part from stereotyping, but rather a different stereotype than what the typical "rice queen" uses.

Generally, i've noticed that i'm somewhat sapiosexual. I really prefer smart guys, in a relationship the main thing I want it intellectual conversation, and unintelligent males are a real turn off.

I believe I am subconsciously associated gay asian males with the asian stereotype of future-oriented, hard-working, NERDS.

Of course the future-oriented, hard-working nerd whose decently attractive, nice, and shares enough hobbies with me sounds like the perfect bf <3

I've even noticed myself speaking to asian males on dating sites, and immediately being thrown off course if they turn out less than highly intelligent(as if I expect them to be so).

At the same time, I also believe that it is at least somewhat biological.

I've noticed I have a mild preference for slightly more feminine faces, as compared to masculine.

I don't really like buff guys, or manly guys. One direction kind of appearances. Generally I suppose this is called "twinks"

Asian males have slightly more feminine facial appearances, as they have more slender faces, and raised cheekbones. Their hair is also straighter(I Love straight hair), they have black hair(I love black hair), and they are relatively thinner, less likely to be fat(bad), and less likely to be overly fit(bad)

All of these traits support reasons I would prefer them biologically.

So I am buying a HP envy laptop. Please don't suggest alternatives.

There are two options I am looking at

1. HP ENVY 15(15.6"screen) with i7-4700 processor

2. HP ENVY TOUCHSMART 17(17.3" screen touchscreen) w. I5-3230 processor

They both have NVIDIA GT-740 graphics, 1080P FHD screen, Backlit Keyboard & 24gb ssd cache

The 17 inch comes with a 750 gb Hybrid Hard drive

The 15 inch comes with a 1tb hybrid harddrive

The 15 inch comes with 8gb of ram

the 17inch comes with 6 gb of ram.

:D That is all.

Which do you think i'd prefer? Portability is not a major factor, and I've already gotten to experience holding/carrying both laptops before(my local samsclub sells them, though i'll be buying online for cheaper pricing)

Furthermore, if I DO get the 17.3" one, should I forgo the Graphics card or touchscreen to up the harddrive?

I am currently looking to begin buying a computer within the next month. I am keeping an eye out for sales, and comparing different computers on different websites.

My current system is a Dell Inspiron N5110, with an i3-2310 processor.(2.1ghz, 2 cores), 581gb 5400 rpm total hard drive, and a 15.6" 720p screen.

Intel integrated hd 3000 graphics.

I'm looking at a serious upgrade of specs, not only to a newer generation, but also overall.

Please don't suggest computers, but i'm looking at the following upgrade options in my upcoming computer.

I7-4700 4-core or I5-3230(Or equivilant) 2-core

TouchScreen or Not touchscreen

17.3" or 15.6"

Nvidia 740 or higher graphics, or integrated

FHD(1080p) or 720p

hybrid harddrive or standard hardrive

24/32 gb ssd cache, or no cache.

Backlit keyboard, or non-backlit..

I am looking at trade-off's between the above. I can't afford all of them, and i'm trying to figure out what I should put as my priorities.

As for what i'll use my computer for, primarily web-surfing, video chatting, school work, HD video playback, some gaming(Skyrim, Civilization 5, Simcity right now, probably more as time goes on).

So far my computer seems to handle what I ask of it, so I know I don't NEED 4-core i7 & dedicated graphics.

Of the forementioned above, what features should I prioritize to get the best experience out of my laptop?

I am 16 years old. My boyfriend is 20.

He is this wonderful Korean boy who goes to University at a very nice university near here, and we met via the internet. I'm gonna go ahead and say that IN MY STATE, I am legally allowed to have sex with him. No legal concerns there.

Whats your opinion on this? I have had sex with him yes. He is my love, and I love him.

Is there anything I should be worried about with his health? I actively drink a lot of artifically sweetened beverages. Once when at the doctors, they tested my piss, momentarily thought i was diabetic(Im skinny so ******* hell no), but I informed them I drank lots of splenda and sweet N low, and they told me since those chemicals weren't digested, they came out through the piss sometimes and made it sweet. Should this be a concern? Or do you think its a GOOD thing??

Just a thought on how MOST of the questions, at least a small majority(I do not claim anything more than 51% as minimum), are lesbian based, not male-gay based?

So im wondering if guys who are top, or guys who are bisexual, prefer to date guys who appear girly, then those who appear straight-like. I know they generally prefer "bottom", but bottom's can vary in apperance, from christian-straight to girl-gay looking.

I first got my DELL laptop about 6 months ago, and compared to my previous laptop, its battery was incredible.

My old laptop had a 1 hour battery, maybe 2 hours new, and would take about an equivilant time to charge.

My dell laptop would take about an hour to charge completly, and had a 3 hours battery(Yes thats actually bad market wise, but hey)

But now, My dell laptop has dropped down to about an hour battery life. At a full charge, I clocked 1 hr 28 minutes. It has maintained a 45 minute to full battery charge though. (roughly)

Do all computers, specifically those ranging from 400-600 have this drop in battery life, over the course of only 5-6 months?

Its not a big deal, just wondering if that "6" hour battery they sell on computers now will actually BE 6 hours, or remain 6 hours for long.

Is it normal to assume that the reason MEN dominated the previous workplace was only partially because of discrimination, but also the cultural ingrained idea, that results from a real one?

For the most of history, PHYSICAL labor was the dominant form of labor, such as farming, or factory conditions. I assume men are better at phsycially-demanding labor, thus that's why male-dominance in the labor-force evolved. My history teacher specifically says gender-stratification started when farming started, because with farming, men became the primary-bread winners.

HOWEVER< am i also right to assume, that as many developed nations enter a post-industrial workforce, that WOMEN will become the dominant gender in the workplace?

Women outpreform men in all forms of education, recieve more degrees. In 20-30 years, most skilled labor positions will be pre-domintatly female. Thus, because women are preforming better in our MODERN day labor-force, which focuses around education and mental merit/skill, are we to assume in 30-40 years, WOMEN will have higher incomes then men, and be generally viewed as more competent in the workplace?

Are bisexual guys more often tops then fully gay guys?

Well, like most teenages, I went through a cycle of horrible depression apon hitting puberty, and like most older teenages, Im still in that cycle. (im 17, this whole scenario started when i was 14)

Well, I love to rationalize my priorities and decisions. I categorize out to myself what my priorities are, how to best bring about "happyness", and most allevate "depression"

I feel obligated to justify things I do, And i often use my priorities and objectives to motivate myself.

For example, I rationalize that the only way to actually achieve this metaphpysical "happyness" is through friendships and pleasent sociable-interactions. Ive realized that OTHER people are the roots of all happyness a person finds.

So, when commiting actions, I do certain things based on how they can improve my interactions(dont get me wrong, I still do plenty of things that are negative to my goals, like eating that slice of cheesecake)

I rationalize, that to maximize my social abilities, I need to have increased income, hightened social status, and superior-to-adequate apperance.

So i exercize, and diet, so I can be good looking, so i can get cute boyfriends(yes im gay).

I spend WAY too much time doing school work, and I take very hard classes. The idea of a B in an AP class is horrifying. The point where i was probably closest to suicide in my life was after I got a B in english in 9th grade(Supposedly a super easy class, but BAH, i got an A in ap calculus and AP Biology, AND AP LANGUAGE. DONT TELL ME, that english 1 honors was "easy", and that it was "my fault" i got a b.

Anyway. SO yah. Is thinking that way constructive, and conducive of mental health? Or am i only setting myself up for a mental breakdown?

WHenver asking questions, I ALWAYs give stories about my own life, often as the main topic or body paragraph of my answers. If you can see my profile( i have no idea if you can) youll see that most of my answers involve sharing personal data. Of course im not giving away my address or full name or anything, but still. I will make comparisons between something that happened to me, etc etc etc.

So, Is it bad to constantly tell these stories? Am i giving too much data about myself? Or am I simply not helping with my stories? Usually my stories are connected to the question.

SECONDLY, almost ALL of my answers are MULTIPLE PARAGRAPHS LONG.

Should I not be making my responces so long? Most people seem to give answers only a few sentences long.

So, when i had english 1 honors with my teacher, she hated me. I had some of the worst hand-writing at the school and there were times on tests, where i would get the answer right, and she would mark it as wrong. She gave me a B in the class, and its only because of my hand-writing(I have straight a's and a 4.6 gpa now!?!)

I specialize in math, and am taking three math classes next year, although one is a really easy course called "liberal arts mathematics"

I took english 2 honors online this year, through FLVS(the best virtual school program in the nation, Dattebayo!)((believe it.)))

I ended up with a 99.837, my teacher called my parents, and congradulated me on being her best student EVAR, and spend 20 minutes gushing about how she loves my essays. I get to type everything to her.

I wasnt planning on taking AP LANG, but if i really do like ENGLISH, should i possible take it next year?

If i want to study Math in college, should i take a harder English class? Or should i focus on its effects on my GPA(which will raise it if i get an A)??

Ok. Im a straight A student, 4.6 GPA for the year, high school, blabla, etc. etc. etc.

One thing ive noticed is that there are no gay people in any of my advanced classes, what-so-ever.

Because all my classes are AP and everything, i commonly see about 40-50 people recycled consistently throughout my classes(half of whom were in all my middle school classes, etc etc.)

Now since only about 1/50 people will actually be self-identifyingly homosexual, and i share that furthermore with lesbians, its makes perfect statistical sense that I would be the only homosexual in my classes, but its still incredibly unfortonate. Ive never had any classes with anyone gay, nor anyone who is good friends with anyone gay, and it makes it difficult to become friends with other gay people. I know this is a problem that will only last throughout high school, but its still annoying.

Only way i meet gay people is through friending them on facebook, or through loose association by being an aquantince of an aquantince. Doesnt help that every gay guy takes acting, and i dont have room on my schedule.

Any advice? I know theres nothing you can really suggest, but maybe youve noticed something similar in a different scenario.
