Any of those would work, although I would actually go with a couple more of each to keep the group numbers up.

Pretty much ANY small community fish (that's suitable for a 20gal) can live with zebra loaches.

You can probably sneak a dwarf gourami or a female betta in there too.

Tetras and rasbora need to be in schools of no less than 6.

Loaches need to be in shols of no less than 5.

5 zebra loaches need at least a 30 gallon tank, sorry.

How about 5 harlequin rasbora and 5 kuhli loaches with sand substrate?

I am honestly not the biggest fan of these fish. Go with 3 zebra loaches, 4 neon tetra, and a dwarf gourami. I currently have a hybrid dwarf in my 10g. It stays a max of 3 and a half inches and is only aggressive toward its own kind. Only get one!

properly if it grow to be my 20 gallon tank, it fairly is what i could inventory it with. - 6 black tetras (or neon) - 4 MALE platy - 4 MALE guppies - 3-4 Otocinclus catfish - 5-6 ghost shrimp - a million snail as long as you do a 20-30% water substitute weekly, you're able to desire to characteristic in line with risk a million-2 extra male guppies or platys thinking you does no longer be getting women human beings.
