Why are most atheist answers snarky?

The people who come on here and are prominent, perhaps because they're top contributors, have some tendency to be like that, but that needn't apply to most atheists because people often just post here to annoy each other. Puerile, but not confined to any particular group and not representative of one either.

How many times can you give a comprehensive, carefully worded, and insightful answer to the exact same question before you get irritated? Perhaps if the theists would spend a few minutes reviewing all the previously posted questions and answers before posting the same question for the 11,000th time, only to have it soundly refuted just one more time, this would not occur.

The very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

For the record, this is at LEAST the 20th time I have answered this or a virtually identical question, and I've only been at this for 14 months.

I believe you're ill-informed. To my knowledge, there is no atheist dogma that states one can't be a true atheist unless one swears off snarky comments on YA R&S. If I'm mistaken please post a link. I prefer having all my ducks in a row before I commence whining about being kept out of the loop for no reason at all.

When I get serious questions I give serious answers with links to back them up. Most of the questions here are ignorant and trollish. Why should I waste my time with anything substantial when the only appropriate response to them is snark?

BTW, WTF is a "true atheist"? Is that like a True Scotsman?

because there comes a point when the atheist gets frustrated trying to get his perfectly sensible points across to people who are either unwilling or incapable of understanding, and he just says **** it, might as well just have a laugh instead. this section is a trollfest, no one has any real questions and no one wants any real answers.
