Would God lower the standards He set to facilitate the disobedience of man?

What had to be done to reverse the consequence of imperfection, death, passed on genetically to ALL descendants of Adam and Eve? Romans 5:12; 6:23.

Genesis 2:15-17

American Standard Version (ASV)

15 And Jehovah God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

16 And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

    No he did not.

God knew that humans who inherited imperfection will not be able to keep his laws. But law isn't just to condemn people, it is in order for people to know what is wrong or illegal. Then God's forgiveness through Jesus Christ's ransom is made clear to us.

(Romans 3:19-26)  Now we know that all the things the Law says it addresses to those under the Law, so that every mouth may be stopped and all the world may become liable to God for punishment.

20 Therefore by works of law no flesh will be declared righteous before him, for by law is the accurate knowledge of sin.

21 But now apart from law God’s righteousness has been made manifest, as it is borne witness to by the Law and the Prophets; 22 yes, God’s righteousness through the faith in Jesus Christ, for all those having faith. For there is no distinction. 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and it is as a free gift that they are being declared righteous by his undeserved kindness through the release by the ransom [paid] by Christ Jesus.

25 God set him forth as an offering for propitiation through faith in his blood. This was in order to exhibit his own righteousness, because he was forgiving the sins that occurred in the past while God was exercising forbearance; 26 so as to exhibit his own righteousness in this present season, that he might be righteous even when declaring righteous the man that has faith in Jesus.

When we notice that when people make their own laws, and their sense of right and wrong are corrupted, they think that wrong is right and right is wrong. But God's laws are always right, and we can train our conscience according to God's thoughts. This is why a study of the holy scriptures can benefit everyone, because when one follows God's thoughts, they find that they are successfully developing a clear conscience, not just by always doing good, but by knowing when and how to correct oneself and make efforts to do what is always right.

I believe because He loved His creation so, that He gave the best of it, humankind, a will to make their own decisions. He most likely knew that sin would creep in, literally, and permanently mar His perfect creation. God promised that He would recreate the earth and the heavens, but a price must be paid. If Adam and Eve, in a perfect environment, rebelled against God, then it would make sense why God is waiting to do away with sin and evil. He's waiting for the transgressions of humans to be complete.

    Anyway, God has a plan.

II Thessalonians 2:11. This is where he lowered the standards.

God made a way through Christ finished work on the cross for us to have the very same choice Adam did. Obey God or Reject God.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Maybe God is helping mankind to become more enlightened and to learn to put things more in perspective?

    Did you ever consider that?

Not that he is lowering any standards but raising our awareness of what really matters and what is just divisive nonsense that we create issues over and become anti christian.

Didn't John say, you will "know" them by their love for each other? For love is from God.

No, God won't. From the start and from the beginning of time, He knows what is right and wrong. He hates seeing sin (even one) from anyone. All one can do is to ask forgiveness from Him.

    Why not?

He already changed the rules on slavery.

He already changed the rules on eating pork.

He already changed the rules on wearing mixed fibers.

If god exists, and the claim is that "his laws are everlasting", you have either not read the book, or, are lying.

Nope. And the price of His Son's suffering shows it.
