what is the difference between god and the devil?

God is the one who would be upset over your post, feeling completely misunderstood.

The devil would be the one smiling, laughing saying "Yes!" over what you just wrote.

I never read the Bible, but I am religious. The difference is probably that Satan (Devil) Is worse, he does it for a bad cause basically, and he tortures anyone who comes into Hell, while God he just makes sure we do not live too long, or makes sure that society does not have too much bad people (Thats where the Arc and Flood came from, to get rid of bad people) And when we do die, he decides if we have been good enough to go to Heaven, if not he sends us to Hell, and who knows, its possible that he is super powerful but not powerful enough to choose when we die.

The difference is the same as the difference between good (ie love) and evil (hatred and/or indifference). Surely you know the difference between those two. Notice the spelling of good (God) and evil (devil): not much difference there, either.

The devil plays hockey.

The Devil is evil, murderous and hates humanity. God loves humanity, gave his life for it, and has not killed anybody.

One is an imaginary being, created to scare people into obedience and the other is the Devil.

God created the angel that willingly became the devil - and he has him locked away in the lake of fire

One of them is the Main Character and the other is the Antagonist in the book.

The devil doesn't lie to you and tell you he's enslaving you for your own good.

Nothing they're both imaginary.
