If I get added to my finances credit card will my credit line go up?

I know it helps your scores, but really, that is a lot of temptation! Remember, you do not want your debt to be any more than 15% of your take home pay or you are getting into dangerous territory.

We have all of our credit lines down to a minimum and have 1 credit card and the rest are debit. And you know what? That works really well because you are not tempted to spend what you do not have. There is a HUGE difference between what you NEED and what you WANT and you need to think before you purchase anything!!! That being said, financial responsibility is a gift you give yourself, and if you do not have self control over your finances or purchase impulses it would be best to allow the person with the most control to have decision making power in the relationship in that area. Good luck to the two of you I have a feeling we are going to see you on here again....not judging, just have this sort of consumer excitement before and know where it leads...
