UK bank account for Non resident? Bill Pay from our account available?
I have a U.S. based company that needs to have checks cut to our clients in the UK. 1) Are there banks that will allow us to have a bank in the UK as a non resident. 2) Are there banks that have bill pay where I can send them a file/spreadsheet of our clients and have them cut a check from our account within the UK?

6 AnswersUnited States7 years agoUPS and FedEx Declared value chart?
Question, does anyone know exactly what ups and fedex charge for insurance? I have found that rates are 85 cents per $100 but after the first $100 of coverage that they provide for free they have a minimum of $2.55 which I believe covers packages up to $300. Here's where I'm confused. If the package declared value is $300.01 do they charge me an additional $.085 and that covers me up to $399.99 or $400? Is it $300.01-$400 or is it $300-$399.99 ??

Our AC went out and the thermostat has gone from 80-85 all day inside here. We are all sitting with fans, and everyone is miserable. Any idea the laws behind keeping us here? OSHA?
4 AnswersSmall Business8 years agoWhat if I haven't worked for 12 months, can I still get medical leave?
I started a job about 4 and a half months ago. I am not returning to work for a while. Will I get paid? And for how long will I get paid? I read that you need 12 months of employment, but I've only been there like 5 months. Does anyone know what I would get of anything. Is it a percentage?
4 AnswersHealth Care8 years agoUSPS Registered Mail Insurance?
If I ship packages via Registered Mail with USPS, they clearly state I have to declare the full value of the goods, and in turn they charge me a fortune and force me to buy their insurance which isn't the best coverage. I was advised that I cannot waive this insurance they offer, but was wondering if I could state a lesser value? For example if my item I am shipping is worth $19,000, could I declare it at $1,900? Anyone know what the consequences would be if they found out I did this, or a work around to this ridiculous forceful tactic? I am not looking for any insurance at all on my items, so if it gets lost, im not concerned. If my item retails for 19k, can i declare the value of what it costs me? which woulld be hard to prove, but is closer to $1,000-$1500 and avoid any issues? Many thanks for your guidance.

3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate8 years agoAdding me to my finances credit cards will increase my credit score?
I have zero debt owed on my credit cards and have a 765 credit score. My available credit is 15k over two credit cards.
My fiancé has zero debt owed on her credit cards. Her available credit is 150k over 4 cards.
The question is that if my fiancé adds me to her cards, I now will have access to 150k extra in available credit. While I have no desire for the access itself, as I am very conservative with my spending. My main question is to know if she adds me to her cards and I now have 150k in credit added to my name on paper, will this be reported to credit bureau?
Secondly will my credit score now increase because of my higher credit availability?

6 AnswersUnited States9 years agoCan I afford this house and the payments!?
Between my wife and I we net 12k a month. Our monthly expenses are 4700. On this home we are looking at for 500k, with a 25k down we are looking at a $2900 mortgage payment. Is this simple math of 12k-4700=7300-2900=4400 left over. We have no debt either and both have credit above 770. Every mortgage calculator online doesn't seem to work properly and gives me a very low number of what we can afford on a mortgage payment. Anyway, math geniuses please look this over and let me know. Much appreciated!!
