What kind of amp should i use to power my 2 alpine 15s (4+4ohms)?

I have 2 alpine 15 inch subs with dual 4 ohm voice coils on each. My goal is to wire them up to be 4 ohms as a first choice but maybe down to 2ohms. What kind of power would be required and what kind of amp?

The two subs are the 1542D rated at 750w max rms and 2000 peak power

You can wire them to 4 or 1 ohm. if they are 750 rms watts each a 1500 wrms would be perfect for them. I would run them at 1 ohm from the amp.. for a good amp id look into the hifonics brz 1700 would be a very good amp for you. i sent a link to one.. If your not sure how to wire subs here a site i send every one so they can see for them selfs how to wire.. put your info into the boxes and it shows you how to properly wire up your subs..
