Is it appropriate to wear dangly earrings to an interview?
I recently graduated from college and I am now preparing for a series of job interviews. I have my navy blue suit with an appropriate length white shirt and I have the proper shoes and what not. But now I need to focus on the accessories. I have decided that Pearls are best for interviewing since they are classy. My mom is buying me a pearl necklace and I have a faux pearl ring that belonged to my grandmother and looks perfect.
But the important question is about the earrings. My mom thinks I should wear my pearl studs, but firstly I haven't worn a pair of studs in about 5 years. I only wear earrings that dangle. Secondly my pearl studs are yellow gold, while my watch, necklace, and ring are white gold/sterling silver. I found a beautiful pair of pearl earrings that dangle and are more my style. My brother voted for the dangling earrings and I actually have an interview at the company he works for. But my mom said the studs are better.

Here is a photo of the earrings. I already know that I have to take my second set of earrings out (as much as I hate to do so), but I just need to know which pair of earrings will be better. Please help.

It really depends on your outfit and your make-up, but most of the time the studs would be more appropriate. However, being pearls they still look classy and if you and your brother both like them and you would feel more comfortable wearing them, you would probably be more confident if you wore the dangly ones. And confidence is everything in a job interview, so wear the dangly ones.

You like the dangly ones
Your Brother likes the dangly ones
You'd feel more comfortable and confidant in the dangly ones.
If you want to for your mother you can leave the house with the studs, but have the others in your purse or pocket before you go into the interview.
The best of both worlds :)

it depends on what kinds of job you are applying for. Personally, suite, shirt are proper for formal interview and I do recommend you wear pearl studs instead of dangling type. If the studs not come at white or silver color, you can even don't wear any one rather than taking dangling pearls.

Your mom is correct, go for studs for the interview or some simple hoops that aren't too big. Dangling earrings are distracting and more suited to an evening look.

Get the studs keep it professional ,matching. The interviewer in their his or hee mind will think wow this woman looks dependable.

You should wear the dangly earrings. I think you are worrying too much about every detail of the interview. they look pretty and formal :)
