♀ Which name do you prefer?

Which do you prefer of the following two name combos? If you could explain why that would be greatly appreciated.

• Elsa Romilly May/Maeve {not sure which one, just pick one!}

• Edith Cassiopia May

If you don't like the names at all, that's fine, feel free to say so, but only after answering the question.

---------------------------------

BQ → How do you feel about Violet Aurelia Blythe?

Thanks a bunch! ♥

Update:

Oh my goodness, thanks Kris for pointing out my typo! It's actually spelt CASSIOPEIA... how I missed that I'm not sure :) And I'm glad to be back!

Thanks for the lovely replies so far. Everyone who answers the question gets a TU, but no TD from me.

Wow, I really like all three names so it is hard to choose but I will put them in order of preference.

    1. Violet Aurelia Blythe - Violet is one of my favourite names and Aurelia is lovely too 9/10

    2. Edith Cassiopeia May - I love Edith but I'm not sure how keen I am on Cassiopeia 8/10

    3. Elsa Romilly May/Maeve - I really like Elsa and I love Maeve but Romilly isn't my favourite. 7/10

I really love the name Edith Cassiopeia May, although I think Cassiopeia Edith May may flow better...

Not a fan of Elsa or Romilly—they are a little strange.

BQ: Oh my goodness, I love Violet Aurelia Blythe. That has to be the sweetest, wisest, awesomest combo ever. Violet flows so well with Aurelia and Blythe is just the perfect add on.

Both are very nice but I am leaning a bit toward Elsa Romilly Maeve. I prefer Maeve as it adds another sound to the mix whereas May sounds very close to the "milly" part of Romilly. I really like Edith and especially the nickname Edie but because I have a somewhat overweight family I had to drop it from the list as Edie sounds a lot like "eat-ie." I also love how gorgeous Cassiopeia is but May almost looks plain next to it.

BQ: I really like Violet Aurelia Blythe. Because the first two names are royal sounding colors, purple and gold, it has an air of dignity but Blythe I believe means happy so it livens up the name and keeps it from sounding too stuffy.

    Hope this helps :)

I like Elsa Romilly May. I think it flows better than Edith Cassiopia May. I don't particularly care for either. I love the name Violet Aurelia Blythe.

Elsa Romilly May. I dislike how old fashioned the names are, but i LOVE Violet Aurelia Blythe. Thats a gooder.

    Source(s): my opinion.
  • They are both very intriguing options, Lily! And it's great to see you around again! :]

I have to go with Edith Cassiopia May.

Is the actual spelling of the constellation Cassiopeia though? I've always been somewhat of an astrology buff, so that is partially what draws me to the name. I also adore the name Edith (and the potential for the nickname Edie).

Elsa is pretty as well, but I absolutely adore Edith and would love to use it myself.

BQ: Gorgeous! It oozes class and flows very well. It definitely has an upper class vibe to it, bordering on a little bit pretentious, but the smooth tones make it a very pleasing pairing for me.
