Brand new gaming computer, cant run games.?
I just bought a medion gaming pc from ASDA; http://direct.asda.com/Medion-Akoya-E4057-Desktop-...
But whenever i try to play any type of game it stops working or just closes on me,
Minecraft runs for up to 10 mintes then closes.
Skyrim run 2 minutes before just closing
And I mostly got this to play ARMA II's mod: DayZ but that runs for 2 minutes before i get a message that it stops working. Same with just normal ARMA II.
Anybody have any ideas on why it could not be working?
Its brand new

Windows 8 is relatively new, might be the reason.
Trouble shoot with this:
1) hard ware or soft ware? Meaning does doing other stuff work? Browse net, chat, programs such as word?
2) if comp works, and its game's fault there's the problem.
3) if it is crash to desktop problem, try running it in compatibility mode. Right click the program, the .exe file, usually your desktop icon. Find properties, click it. Go to Compatibility. Run in a old mode, and click run as admin.
4)if this still doesn't work, google the EXACT problem. What type of crash is it? What message does it show?
Now I think about it, if your computer totally shuts down and restarts, it is a hard ware problem. Very dangerous. Overheat most likely the issue. If you do not know how to pinpoint and fix the issue, take it to someone who does. It is very hot, and it will burn you if you are clueless.

I'm sure about one thing and it's that your hardware is not causing any problems. You have quite a capable cpu for running games. I think it's either that windows 8 is not supports these games or maybe your drivers are not compatible with windows 8. Firstly update all the drivers ,I think you will get them at your motherboards home site! Update to the latest directx and also get Net framework 3.0! If it still doesn't work I suggest you go back to windows 7.

Uh it may run a lot of video games, purely no longer Crysis (and MW2) it is going to run L4D, Killing floor, and the Orange container purely advantageous nevertheless. different than video games, very few issues require a dedicated snap shots card. So for the final person (the no longer game enthusiasts) that laptop is extremely suited because it is going to do each little thing else very speedy because of the severe velocity of the middle i5.

That is not a gaming computer if it's using integrated graphics. A gaming computer has a dedicated graphics card. So I suggest going to the store and buying a larger power supply and a decent graphics card and try again.
