Is there suppose to be hair in dog biscuits?
I went to Target and bought a box of Boots and Barkley dog biscuit treats. I fed them to my dog today and I notice a couple of them have hair in it. It is dark and black. I'm not sure where the hair is from and it is certainly not listed in the ingredients. I just want to know if this is normal and if any of you seen this before. thanks!

This is where the 'meat byproduct' comes in. Hair is not going to hurt dogs. Dogs on raw diets eat whole rabbits, birds, mice, rats, whatever, hair, feathers, and all. Not all raw fed dogs are fed whole prey, but many are. It just depends on the meats the owner has access to. It's the other crap in processed pet food that's so bad. Put your dog on a raw diet. He will love that better than anything.

No it is NOT normal and is probably due to poor quality control and a sloppy factory. I would avoid that brand in the future.
