Is there suppose to be hair in dog biscuits?
I went to Target and bought a box of Boots and Barkley dog biscuit treats. I fed them to my dog today and I notice a couple of them have hair in it. It is dark and black. I'm not sure where the hair is from and it is certainly not listed in the ingredients. I just want to know if this is normal and if any of you seen this before. thanks!

Hi,
I am very excited about the open season for salmon in california. I have always wanted to go fishing for salmon and this will be my first time. However, I am unfamiliar with the areas allowed and regulation. If you guys can keep me up to date on regulation and where exactly on the map I can catch some salmon that would be awesome. Thanks mate and happy fishing!

2 AnswersFishing1 decade agoEpistasis: How do you phrase this?
Hi for all you bio experts out there.
I am currently doing some hw on epistasis and I came across 2 mutants that are not epistatic to one another due to an additive effect.
I know if the two mutants are epistatic, you say that gene 1 is epistatic to gene 2
or gene 2 is epistatic to gene 1.
But what if they are not epistatic? for example if the mutant phenotype for gene 1 is green and the mutant phenotype for gene 2 is red, then you make a double mutant and it turns out to be purple. How are you suppose to phrase this?
do you just simply say that gene 2 is not epistatic to gene 1? or do you say there is an additive effect?
Thanks!
1 AnswerBiology1 decade agoWhy does my vision become blurry when I watch TV but not after using the computer?
This only happens when I watch tv. My eyes take a while to refocus after I look away. It does not happen when I use the computer for a long time. Does this have something to do with the refresh rate of the tv?
The TV I'm watching is a old school CRT, not the new flatscreen lcd. My computer screen is lcd. I am wondering if any of you have this experience after using LCD and then going back to watch tv on CRT, does it hurt your eyes?

I am looking to buy a dental pick to help scrape off residues in the cracks between each tooth. There are so many different types of dental picks. Curved ones, angled ones, and straight ones. For you dentists out there or dentist-to-be, which type of pick is good for this kind of job? Thanks!

i have an ultraportable laptop that does not have an optical drive and I really need one to reinstall the os. I know that getting an external case and building it on my own is less costly. however, I have never built one before and i wonder if it will cause any driver issues if i build one. thanks.

2 AnswersOther - Hardware1 decade agoThe perfect summer job for college student?
I am a college student around the San Francisco area and I am looking for a job where I can have fun and learn something new. I don't want a job where the supervisor bosses me around all day to fold clothes or make 10 burgers in one minute. Income is not a problem for me. A little is fine. It would be great if the job is hands on and is done outdoors. Please give me any suggestions for the perfect job. Thanks
