My guppies are turning black and darker, then they die a few hours later, and sink to the bottom of my tank.?

Please help, (read all before you answer) 
My tank is a 2.5 gallon, no filter and no light, the guppies died when I was on vacation for 7 days, my fish started dying on my fifth day.
I have had no problem with my fish before, I live in a two story house, and bred them myself, and during vacation I moved my fish to a nearby friends one story house. 

If I look From the top, half a day before they die, their backs (whole back) starts to turn a blackish color. then they swim a bit side ways with less water control. 
they seem to be getting weaker as they die, when they die they die on their sides. 

two days before I gave my friend my fish, I added three plastic plants to my tank.
I have checked my water levels, they are very good with soft freshwater. 
My friend also takes care of their own guppies sucessfully. Their fish were fine.
my two other tanks I have given them have gotten sick two, my two goldfish died, and my other two gallon with 10 guppies died.

I took them home yesterday, but two more died overnight (I was out the whole day today) and as I got home, one of my guppies died as I was removing my other fish to clean the tank.

I can't stand this. A non filtered, non lighted, possibablly non heated 2.5 gallon is not suitable for any life. Guppies are active, but can live in as low as 5 gallons. Screw the person who said 2 fish in this tank and 5 gallons for a gold fish. That goldfish can reach a foot in length, and in a 5 gallon won't because it will be stunned and be Tourette's and have a shorter life span. The sick was is due to poor conditions. Even a filter could help in tho case. I don't expect you to listen to me, but if you actually care about your pets you'll have a heart and learn to properly care for them. How about joining a fish fourm? I am a member at aquarium advice and they helped me through everything. In sorry to jump at you, but you really need to become a responsible pet owner

am sorry to say ur very over stocked u really should only have 2 fish at the most in such a wee tank most small fish need 2 gallens per fish thats with a filter and goldfish are huge waste polluters and need 5 gallons each ov water per fish they are being poisoned with their own waste .id normaly ask are u doing a 10% water change ev week but since u have no filter ull need to change 10% ev day and fish prob will still die as to many .guppys are very hardy fish and easy to keep once u have the basics can u go online and find out more it might help to xx it could be her water i move house from one ene ov town to the other and lost half my tank but only once i still think its over crowding most pet shops will have anti fungal etc treatment go ask them and explain to them x
