Where should a 22 year old couple go for NYE in San Francisco?

My girlfriend and I are both 22 y.o. and we want to go out for NYE and get schwasty. What are the best clubs in San Francisco for people our age to go to? We want to celebrate with other twenty-somethings and we don't have a lot of money. We also would rather not celebrate in the mission or ghettoville.

    What's wrong with The Mission District. Maybe you better stay in. You'll be safer. :)
