I changed my keyboard on my Toshiba A105 and now it will not power up. what did I do wrong?

thanks for the help in changing my keyboard. No problems doing it, but now the computer will not power up. Is there something I did that might damage it,or it is a coincidence. Help! And since it is now dead, how do I retrieve the information from my hard drive?

When changing the keyboard, it's likely that you didn't connect up a particular cable properly for the power button. I would suggest taking the keyboard off, checking all the cables that you had connected, as well as check near the power button to see if there is anything disconnected or damaged.

I have had to take the keyboard back apart and find that

it weren't plugged in good. You might check that.
