Honeymoon/ family holiday destination for October 2013?

Hello everyone, I'm trying to plan a 2 week family holiday from the 20/10/2013 to the 4/11/2013. There is no way of changing the dates we are going more then a day or so. As it is our honeymoon as well as a family holiday we wanted to go some where really special I. E. Barbados, Bahamas, Maldives. Anywhere with white sand, palm trees, sun and clear water. Problem is everywhere I look is rainy season! I haven't traveled much so don't really know where is best. USA is a no no as we might have a problem with getting a visa not enough time to sort it. So does anyone know a good holiday destination for October? And has anyone ever traveled to Barbados, Bahama or Maldives in October time and have good whether? Thank you

    Go to Barbados.

The people are great so friendly.

Barbados hasn't been hit by a hurricane in over 50 years. It is outside of the hurricane belt so, the threat of a Hurricane is greatly reduced. Barbados has alot of sunny days EVEN IN THE RAINY SEASON!

The exchange rate is $1.00 USD = 1.98 BBD, but the locals will usually exchange the US at a rate of 1US=2BBD, it is advised only to spend the large bills of US in establishments and not on the street, as change will not be forth coming.

The sands are the whitest in the Caribbean, the water is so blue almost turquoise. The people are extremely helpful once you say what you want done.

The Barbadians are as they like to be call "Bajans" pronounced Bay - Jans always look like if they are smiling and don't have a care in the world.

The crime rate is far lower than most places, and unrest is almost non- existent, there hasn't been a riot in almost 60 years!

It is advised that to change your money to United States dollars as these can be spent along side the local currency, the Euro or Pound, you will need to go to a local bank to exchange to the local currency.

Even their money makes you smile, Its so colourful, the $2 is blue, the $5 is a bright green, $10 is brown,$20 is purple, $50 is green with splashes of orange and their $100 is grey with splashes of purple.

I STRONGLY recommend going to Barbados for your Honeymoon, you and your partner will love it, your kids will LOVE it, you will want to go back again and again!

And you don't need a visa to enter the country once you are from a commonwealth country or the united states.

Their accent sounds like an english cockney if you hear them speak in a informal setting and I recommend you try to learn a few of their local creole words, like Wa gine on - ( Can be used to ask What is happening or how is the person doing, depends on the setting) and what I found most interesting was how they asked their friends where they were they said " Wa part you is," which basically meant "Where are you"

Their official language is English so you will be able to communicate and they switch to english once they realize you or not from the island

Go Barbados you will not regret it!
