In what age do canaries breed successfully?

I have bought 4 pairs of canaries.I dont know their exact age but i am sure they were babies because none of the males wee singing. they laid eggs for two times since then but none of the eggs were fertile! next month is their breeding season in our country and the males are singing vigorously right now and i am keeping them in seperate cages. i am feeding them every neccessary foods and vitamins. by the way what should i feed them to make them readier for breeding??

    Canaries must be at least 1 year old before breeding takes place. Sounds like you are doing everything to ensure a healthy season for your birds, keep it up!
