is this wording acceptable?
There is an blue light bulb in our set top box and its light stays on even after turning off the TV. With the room dark while we are going to sleep it is annoying, casting a blue color towards our closed eyes
I want to remove the light from the room.
Not the tiny little bulb just the light coming from the bulb. So can this light be removed ?
That an was some type of typo as I am well aware of the use of an.
The essence of the question is the use of the word remove as in can the light be removed or I am going to ask how can we remove the light.
Thanks
Oh now I remember I actually had the word annoying at that point and cut it so it was "an annoying"

The wording is excellent. It exactly describes a similar problem that I fixed by applying a small piece of self-adhesive black electrical tape over the bulb.

No, corrected, it would be:

Not the tiny little bulb, just the light coming from the bumb. So can this light be removed?
You pretty much had everything right. Hope I helped :)

Use the word "an" before a word that begins with a vowel, such as apple, you'd say "an apple" not "an blue light"
