What do you see looking back at the Year 2012?
It's been a year of tragedies and triumphs. What stands out for the past year in your mind, either personally or nationally?
There have been ups and downs in my personal world (as in all years), but I'm still happy to wake up each morning to face another day. 12/21/12 came and went, but we're all still here. Maybe there's time to fix things.
May 2013 be your best year yet!

We can't control anyone except ourselves, so with that in mind we each need to put our best foot forward and then the problems will solve themselves. 2012 was full of struggles but we are well on our way to resolving them. Happy New Year.

We had 2 deaths in the family (both stage 4 cancers), 2 weddings, and the hurricane (Sandy) hit everyone in one way or another, but, much to the dismay of some people, we are still here at the end of this year. 2013 has to be better! Lets hope so!
Happy New Year!

On a personal level, I've had a couple of rough months at the end of the year, but all in all, it went smoothly. I was pleased with the election results, even in my own state, where all of the special interest ballot proposals went down with a resounding thud. Nationally, it's been a sad year, the shootings at the movie theatre and the school and other killings with guns. Let's all hope next year will be better. There was just word that a deal may have reached in the "fiscal cliff (curb)" talks but only for another three months, so that will definintely be revisited. Sheesh.

The year found me calming down and settling into my little home after a couple of years of leaving all I was used to behind and then the remodeling here.
This past year I came to see all will be well for me. It was the most peaceful I have been in a long time.
2013 looks good too.
Happy New Year to all.

the finished 'the top of the international' component became depending on the mayan calender that ends on december 21 2012. the calender is a circle, so once you run out of room on the circle, you initiate a clean calender, the calender befell to end on december 21 and now all of us is going loopy it extremely is carefully unnecessary, also, if the mayans ought to predict the destiny, why couldn't they predict the top of their civilization? as for the oil spill, they have placed a cap on it now, and the finished melancholy wasnt the top of the international became it? or international warfare 2?

The good, me and my family are healthy and doing well. The bad, the way the republicans ran their presidential campaign. The ugly, the school shootings in Newton, CT. Yes, lets all hope 2013 is better.

I agree with the ups and downs...past surgeries, sciatica, aches and pains, Falls, etc...there were good things about it too...I just wish for less pain this year to enjoy 2013.

I feel upbeat too. Some heavy worries I had at the beginning of the year were resolved, I have had more opportunity to have conversation with another adult, not just by telephone. I have found having that does keep me current and interested. Best year for me mentally since my husband died.
I too am looking forward to this coming year to be good.

In general, the apostasy. God being left out of the equation in the lives of way too many people. Prophecy in the making.
Personally, lost a brother this year, unexpectedly.
Overall, God is in control and I've been blessed many ways, no complaints.
