Plot ideas for an assassin story?
I would like it to be set in a medieval period; and I would also like to incorporate some romance into it if possible. And of course, the main characters would be assassins. Any ideas for a plot?

Whatever you do, please don't utilize the cliche where the assassin falls in love with his/her target.

It depends on what you're specifically looking for. Everyone's different; personally, I'm writing a story about an assassin as well at the moment. Just looking for a plot in the midieval period about assassins with romance opens up a lot of possibilities. Usually, I make the character's first (or at least their backgrounds) and let the plot build around that. For inspiration, reading (fanfiction, original stories on fictionpress.net, novels, etc.), playing video games, and looking at pictures really helps me. Whatever floats your boat, though.
Good luck!

-A cold heart assassin fell in love with his master's daughter.
-The assassin is very talented.
-He doesn't know what love is.
-He came from a poor family
-He was a salves at a young age and was sold by his parent at a young age.
-Trained to be a assassin at young age like 6 or 8 years old
Hope like those ideas.

Hoshi has a really good answer! I was just getting ready to tell you to read and look around for inspiration, but it was said better in that answer. I also agree it is easier to come up with a plot if you know who you want to write about first.

The best part about writing is that you get to make up the plot without reality bugging you. To you, we're your reality....
