How is this possible?
I bet this is a dumb question but still. I have 3G full bars on my phone yet I'm not connected to any wifi network. I'm currently on the road and my phone company is metro peice of crap as people say (metro pcs). How is this possible?

Your probably connected to a 3G network, aka a cellphone tower. Most phones will automatically connect to a 3G network if there is one nearby, but I would go into your settings and turn it off/check it out, because if your accessing the internet through a 3G network but don't have a Data plan, its going to cost you money.
