IMOVIE/YOUTUBE HELP! PLEASE!?
Ok, I've been struggling to find answers so hopefully you know what's up. I filmed a video on my Mac Book Pro and edited it in iMovie. The original clip was 4:35 but I edited it down to 2:47. When I click share>youtube all the sharing options are grayed out (like youtube, itunes, mobileme) so when I try to go to my youtube account and select a file to upload, the only available option is the unedited 4:35 video. What am I doing wrong? I'm new to iMovie so that's why i sound like such rookie! Thanks for any help

You are trying to upload a Project aren't you? Not an event? You cannot Share Events, only Projects.
Create a project in iMovie (File > New Project).
Move/drag the event/events into your project and then do your editing.
When you have finished, you should be able to Share the project.
Share > YouTube.
Don't ever Finalise your project unless you want to create a movie in every possible size.
Share > Export Movie.. and pick the size you want.

Hard to say what is wrong from the description. Try using Finalize Project from iMovie's File menu. Do you have the option to Export Movie from the Share menu? If so Export it and then upload that to YouTube.
