can i report cyberbullying to the principal if it happened over break?

Today my "friend" has been being really mean to me over kik. She said i sound like a dying whale when i sing (even though she's never heard me, and i have vocal nodules at the moment so i cant sing as good as i usually do) and she is calling me ratchet. can i report it to the principal at my school even though i'm on winter break still? is this enough to report it? this has happened before. i don't remember exactly what the other times were, but it's not usually very bad, like this, it just gets on my nerves. this made me really angry though.

Update:

I kind if worded this bad. I know this isn't really bad. And there's a lot more to it than what I wrote. She says stuff like this every day. I can't block her because at school she starts yelling at me (I've tried it before) and I'm not the kind of person who likes to draw attention to myself. And it's not just cyberbullying. She bullies me at school too

Cyber bullying isn't real bullying. Imagine having to actually be harassed by someone in real life. Log off or block the person; it really is just that simple.

It's hard to believe you consider a comment from a friend over kik "very bad bullying". I'm 100% for anti-bullying, but the principal probably has more important stuff to deal with. This is not an issue for authorities, handle this yourself. If you're 13, the age for this site, you should be able to do that. Tell her to shut her mouth. If she doesn't want to, block her and forget about her. Then, if she continually harasses you (creates fake accounts, uses other accounts to maliciously attack you with being provoked) THEN you should contact a school figure or the police department.

yes you can but i dont think much will be done usually they take it really seriously if its life threating, harsh and mean rumores or its been going on for a long time.

if i had to guess most likely he would jjust have you guys sit down and talk it out.

in my opinion i wouldnt tell him i would just drop her shes obviously not a true friend or someone you need in your life block her from your kik and everything.

    hope all goes well !

Bullying is against the law, and any form of it. You can report it to any form of authority I guess? I usually just don't care and ignore people like that though.

That's not bullying. You're just letting somebodies teasing get on your nerves and control you.
