    B:

    Concerning Christ, it is recorded:

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)

The Bible teaches that a human being is made up of spirit, soul and body. Even though the physical part of him dies, the spiritual part lives on because it is his true nature.

From the above verse, it is clear that the child (referring to the physical person) was born but the Son (referring to the spiritual identity) was given. The Son could not have been born because He was in existence before time began.

So Jesus was born as a human being on earth and was the child of Joseph and Mary. Though He took on the form of a human being and became like one of us physically, He was the Christ, which means His spiritual identity was that of the Son of God.

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities - all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." (Colossians 1:15-17)

We confess that the Lord Jesus is the Son of God, that He came down and was manifest in the flesh, that He was crucified so that we may be saved, that he bore our sins on the cross, that He will one day return to judge all of us according to our works :) and that all who believe in Him may be saved :)

There are three that bear witness in heaven, God the Father, God the Word, and God the Holy Spirit :) Jesus Christ was with God from the very beginning and all things were created through Him and for Him. He is the Word as well as the Son of God :) and right now He is seated at the right hand of our heavenly Father :) They are One and I hope that the following will convince you of that fact :)

"Then God said, "Let us(Jesus is speaking) make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Genesis 1: 26

"'Behold the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel', which means, 'God with us'" Matthew 1: 23
