Why does the UK give tax credits to foreigners who just send it to their families abroad?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/9772132/B...
The UK is £billions in debt yet we still let foreigners defraud the system, basically 'stealing' from hard-working British taxpayers.
how can we stop this?
ASOT600... they shouldn't be allowed to !!! it's bad enough having to pay for British fraudsters.. but paying for foreign ones is even worse!!

It's probably the EU which forces them to give these people tax credits. I read somewhere that nationality makes no difference to elegibility. It bloody well SHOULD BE. Only British people should get tax credits from Britain. Their own countries should give it to them instead.
“In the years between 2003 and 2010, Labour spent a staggering £171 billion on tax credits, contributing to a 60 per cent rise in the welfare bill."
I agree with Margaret... vote UKIP!

Immigrants actually bring massive net profits into the economy. Why don't you target pensioners? Or housewives? Or British fraudsters?
You do realise that's exactly what every British person living abroad also does. I knew someone who lived abroad and sent all his money back to Britain. He only had enough money to eat abroad and sent all the rest back home. It's exactly what you, and I would do. There's no problem.
