My laptop keeps shocking me?
My laptop has been shocking me for a little while now. I was told to replace my cord because it's short circuiting. So I replace it, but my laptop is still shocking me... >.< Do any of you got any ideas what's wrong with my laptop?
Also I know nothing about computers/laptops. Which is why I'm on here!

I personally would not put that computer on my bare skin if it was shocking me until you got that fixed. It sounds like the electrical current is being grounded if it is shocking you when you touch metal on it. Get a professional to fix that and be safe!:)

it would desire to be in simple terms static electrical energy. in case you apply it to sunny days, exterior, then that's greater in all probability to do this. If no longer, take it to somebody to get it fastened. additionally, is it made up of steel? steel with paint? no rely if that's, probs static electrical energy. you may get an identical shocks at steel playgrounds, or leaping on a trampoline.

Sounds to me like a bad or incorrect power supply. I suggest you have a PC technician take a look at it.

Try changing your shoes or something that could be generating static as your walking.
