Serving a mission in Russia for church?

I have been called to serve a mission for my church in Samara Russia. This mission will be two years and I am leaving in May. How can I learn as much russian as possible between now and may?

    You can go on line and collect some basic language materials. However, the Mission Training Center will give you the basics that you need to know in order to started in your mission. After that, the Holy Ghost will give you the gift of tongues if you seek it by study and by prayer. Have faith, you will do fine. My niece served in Siberia and loved it.

    My daughter learned russian over the summer on you tube and other sites, she does that kind of thing. I would try Rosetta stone myself.

    Congratulations. Should be an interesting experience.

    There are many online and commercial products out there. Rosetta Stone for one.
