Unemployment money & Fiscal Cliff?
I heard in the President's speech last night that there will be unemployment funds for people who are looking for work for as long as they need it. So, I have been without a steady job since July of 2009, and I have not been able to land a job not for a lack of trying, therefore I am wondering if I might be able to get unemployment funds again?
I would much much rather be out earning my money, but I do have bills that I cannot pay so if I can get some money it would help....

In short....not likely. There is no new extension in this package, just a continuation of the previous federal extension package. The only way you could possibly suddenly qualify is if your state unemployment was lower than the threshold to qualify for full federal aid previously and unemployment in your state has risen as of late.
As for off hand accusations of him/her lying...its classless and you belittle yourself. You simply have no basis to make that judgment call.
I fear being laid off...that's with a college degree and 20+ years management experience. Why do I fear it? Because a former colleague, a competent manager of 30+ years, is currently working at Kinko's after his unemployment coverage expired and he was unable to find any more suitable work. Why? Because there are 200 experienced managers applying for every job and half are going to college grads that are happy to be offered $30k and benefits in this economy.
Best advice I can give people that do end up unemployed is GET TRAINING. Learn to run a CNC machine or one of the other new needed fields.

I sense you are lying here. I don't know if you are or not but it seems like it. As far as you getting unemployment funds again, you probably will but I don't see it lasting long with no revenue to back this up. People like you in the same situation need to start looking for work. Yes, there isn't much work out there but every once in a while jobs come up. Maybe you ought to think about moving to a different state that is doing better economically? My wife and I are. We currently live in Maryland and there are hardly any jobs here so we are about to be moving soon. Do some research and do what I said, I guarantee you will find something soon, it will be sometime in the near future.

Why is Boehner ignoring it? actually the CBO warning pertains to the two the top a million% and the working classification bush tax cuts expiring. meaning the financial equipment won't settlement if the top a million% tax cuts are allowed to run out on an identical time as the tax cuts on the working classification, which Obama helps are retained. And it incredibly is real because of fact the working classification are the main important populations of shoppers for the duration of this usa and in the event that they finally end up having much less money to spend the financial equipment will shrink. that's a trouble-free rely of purchaser-based economics. This follows liberal financial perspectives of intake in a customer-based financial equipment.
