When did people start selling water (bottle of water)?
I grew up in Russia and travel there from time to time, i never saw any store sell a bottle of water. I saw many Seltzer like stuff. Maybe now they do sell water, but i wonder when did people actually start selling water? Was it always on the store shelves here in the States?

Mid-90s i think is when it started becoming a widespread phenomenon. Of course they sold them for quite a while before that, but never in the volumes we had starting in the 90s.

if you visited Russia from time to time you would know that they sell bottled water EVERYWHERE.
Starting from the airport where you would arrive.
