Is there a fast way to edit songs in Windows Explorer?

So I decided to redo my iTunes library due to several inconsistencies. However I notice that many songs show up in my library as 01 Songname, for example. I noticed that the problem was because on the actual file, it does not have a number under the # column in Windows Explorer. In order for the problem to be fixed, I have to go to each song individually and add a track number. Is there a faster way to do this? Thanks.

Yes, you'll need a program to edit ID3 tags. This is my favorite, you can perform many operations over a group of MP3s

mp3tag does not seem to edit the track numbers, just the tag field which is different. I am still searching on how to edit the TRACK #. The tags do nothing for me.

Download MP3tag from the link below. It's completely free and you will be able to edit the tags in your music files with ease.
