Is The Hobbit as good as LOTR: The Fellowship Of The Ring?

I thought it was better. More adventury, less doom and gloom, the end of the world is coming. I've been to see it twice already and am really looking forward to the next installment at the end of the year.

But then when it comes to the books, I always preferred the hobbit anyway. Bilbo is a better character than Frodo to my mind and the dwarves are humerous and suprising.

A good, fun, mildly thought provoking movie. But whether you think it's better or not depends on you really.

I didn't think it was. It's still a great movie, but I thought The Lord of the Rings was better.

i personally didnt thinnk it was better, but i guess that depends on what you like. the hobbit wasnt as serious as the lord of the rings - alot more comedic

For me it wasnt better, it has just got more involved. The CGI is better and everything seems more polished.
