i watched it, it looks interesting, but you should keep a critical mind. i think with any "conspiracy theory", it is up to the viewer to decide whether it's real, in part or in whole, or just a bunch of baloney. could be real, advertisers may or may not use subliminal messages, and maybe the government has tried as well, but this doesn't mean that all viewers or members of society are affected by it.
obviously there are plenty of people (known or not) who have a mind of their own and it can difficult to persuade them with anything. It probably depends a lot on the type of message(government vs just a silly advertisement) and how it is received (a hidden picture etc) and how can you be sure that everyone will receive that in the same way, maybe it's not being received at all, what good is a secret message if it's not being picked up and actually interpreted/understood by the brain?? I think people are brainwashed more through direct and repetitive societal and cultural influence. They are so many people and so many minds, and lifestyles it's probably unrealistic to assume that everyone could be "brainwashed" with such subliminal messages unless it was through chemical means or turture. if a pepsi commercial comes on and tells me with a subliminal message that flashes on between pictures: "drink coke, it's refreshing and good for you", it wouldn't matter because i hate pepsi and soft drinks, i wouldnt buy it no matter what they were telling me. it means nothing to me.
