What makes a clock run fast?

I just put new batteries in this clock I have. (Analog) And it runs about 10mins faster than all my other clocks. Analog and digital

    Bad QC/tuning or wrong crystal used.

    If its analog, the gears in it (minute gear) may be too small. If digital, it was programmed wrong.
