I have a 1000 watt hifonics monoblock pushing two jbl 12s with 1400 peak. My volt meter drops to 12 volts going down the highway and I already have a new alternator and a optima yellow top. What do I need to fix this.

I have two 12s JBL with 350rms and 1400peak. I want an amp to push them but not blow them out, I looked up some things and I either want a mono or a ab class amp.I just don't know what brand or watts

I'm in the DFW area and I'm looking for a fresh rebuilt 305 Vortec for my 97 gmc. I'm looking to spend no more than $1500 and if I can get a 350 with the computer flashed for the same price I'll do that. I've already looked at Blanies, City motors and LKQ. Just trying to see what else is out there. And if theres a budget friendly motor swap for the 350?

I have 97 gmc pickup with 200,000 miles. The motor runs like new and I wanna keep it that way. It's time for my next oil change and I've been using nothing but mobil 1 extended performance since I got it. I buy the 5 quart jug from walmart. It hasn't been lasting as long as it usually does and I'm looking for a better oil. I don't trust Pennzoil, castrol or Valvoline and I want to compare the benefits of using Royal Purple to Mobil 1. Can someone help me?

I have a 97 gmc sierra. I got new tires and rims two months ago and have had to get it aligned twice. This will be the third time. I have new control arm bushings, inner tie rods and Pittman arm. About a month after getting it aligned it pulls to the right again. What can cause this?

I just put new batteries in this clock I have. (Analog) And it runs about 10mins faster than all my other clocks. Analog and digital

Just a thought. I found some 17s I want but the tires on the rims are low profile 255/45/17. I think the rims are too. I want to know if I can put 265/70/17 on low pros or do I need to find regular rims?

On PC it buffers alot faster and plays better, but on my ps3 it buffers like every 5 secs and sometimes plays in slow-mo.

I have a wire going from the battery to led lights. Its putting out about 14 volts and I need to take it down to at least 10 volts so it won't blow the 20 amp fuse. I've looked at radioshack for resistors and I'm lost on which one I need because they go by watts and I don't know anything else about what I'm running.

I have 4 led strips under my car and I'm having a problem with the voltage supply. There grounded to metal and the power wire is going straight to the battery with a 20A fuse which is rated for 12volts. The problem, the battery is putting out too much voltage so its blowing the fuse right when I hit the switch. And I'm not going to put a bigger fuse on because the lights and wire is rated for 12 volts. Any higher and the wires would melt (which I have already done once) I know there are voltage regulators but I have no idea on how to wire them up. Is there anything else I can do???

I accidentally jumped my power connection to the ground connection on the accessory plug on my fuse box and now I have no interior lights. I checked the fuse, replaced it and nothing. I don' know if its the relay or if I blew the led bulbs, or if i fried that circuit. Everything else works I just have no interior lights. And no cargo lamp on my third brake light either.

I have a 97 gmc sierra and I want to put 17x8 inch wheels with all terrain tires. The overall diameter would be around 31.6 inches depending on the tire. Would this work with a stock ride height or do I just need to find some 15 inch rims? Also how wide would I be able to go?
