Can I plug in this cord into my laptop?
I lost the part of my laptop cord that plugs from the wall to the power brick, but I have the power brick to the laptop. My power brick is a 65w, my brothers is a 90w. If I use the wall part from his (no power brick part, just the wall part) will it be ok? It fits on my power brick as well

Yes, the part between the wall socket and the brick is generic- It doesn't regulate voltage, or anything else.. So, yes, that is safe to use. Don't use the power brick on the laptop.

Yes; no worries. That part is called the "mains" cord, and they are very interchangeable.
