Here's a "BIG KAHUNA" kind of question just for fun....?

What's the name of a fish that might remind us of the very WORST kind of black eye you could ever get? HINT: Fishermen in Arkansas and Missouri might have a slight advantage figuring this one out.

Update:

A couple of good guesses here so far, but not right. Remember the two states named for your best clue. I will take guesses up until Sunday evening before giving out the correct answer. And I WILL choose BEST ANSWER from everyone who at least TRIES to come up with the answer, whether or not they actually get it right. A little incentive there.

Update 2:

Well, it's almost 5:00 pm on the east coast and I did promise you an answer to this question this evening. I liked some of your answers and I appreciate your thoughts and guesses. Well done. However, none of you were exactly right, but a couple actually did come close. The correct answer refers to a common baitfish found mostly in Arkansas and Missouri. It's a pretty little fish in red and black highlights on its silver sides and is considered truly one of the most beautiful of all minnows. At most, these shiners reach a length of 5 inches, but are more commonly 3 to 4. They are easily trapped and seined and their bright colors make them one of the most popular live baits in the Ozarks. What is it? They are called Notropis zonatus by their Latin name, but for us fishermen, we know them by their common name which is....the Bleeding Shiner.

Thanks for playing along with this Q&A.

as a wedding planner, i always love it when a couple does things to personalize their wedding and reception. i think it would be great to take advantage of his poor dancing skills to really ham it up. after all, if he is a bad dancer, what would be more fun or share who he is better than doing a silly bad dance. good for you. i just watched the movie "hitch" last night and my favorite part of it is the dance scene at the very end where kevin james and his bride and will smith and eva mendes all do some really silly dancing at the wedding. it's such a hoot. go for it.

A shiner and I am in the 907 area code. The shiner looks like a whitefish to me.

Only thing I can think of that'll give you a black eye is a flathead catfish... while noodling.
