How to remove waxy, kinda gummy substance from inside of dryer?
I thought of using Goo Gone but since it's inside my dryer whatever I use to remove it should be non-flammable. I don't know what this stuff is, but it's black and all over the inside of my dryer. Can anyone help?

i would use the goo gone but i would wipe the areas you use goo gone with a dry cloth to remove the resido...i would also not over use the goo gone and i would after cleaning and wiping...let it tumble run it with something you do not care about on cool air...then wipe the inside again....air it out also...

I use wax, the sticky wax for hair removal, and 'equipment cleaner' is widely available. It isn't harsh on hands, but dissolves the wax. It could be something to try. It won't damage your dryer at all, as it is used in salons to clean equipment and benches. It is available in salon suppliers like Sally. You could even try Ebay.
Hope that helps : )

Rubber or grease deposit, probably from a belt, or lining, but yeah, goo gone sounds good.
