Thinking about dying my hair with soy sauce and vinegar?

Okay so I've dyed my hair way too many times and it's now terrible. I've decided not to dye it any more because I'm afraid my hair will fall out or something, but it's such an awkward colour right now, and looks a horrid ginger colour half of the time, and just really dull the rest of the time.

I recently discovered that you can darken your hair by 'dying' it with soy sauce and vinegar but would like some advice on whether or not this is just as bad as dying it with actual dye from a box.

Also, if anyone has tried the soy sauce and vinegar method, how did it work out for you?

Thank you in advance.

well, vinegar is acidic, and if you have to much of it you'll die. probably not as bad as hair dye, but its still very acidic. I dont know very much about soy sauce though.
