Who will be boycotting Bank of America for this?

"Bank of America has reportedly frozen the account of gun manufacturer American Spirit Arms, according to its owner, Joe Sirochman."

"the reason that the deposits were on hold for further review -- her exact words were -- ‘We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet.’”

*according to FB posting, ASA has now managed to get most of its deposits and has changed banks.

I have always used credit unions myself

As for BOA it looks like this company has been in some hot water for quite some time.

Bank of America’s acquisition of Countrywide was initially praised by lawmakers because the lender was seen as stepping in to support the mortgage industry. However, instead of boosting Bank of America’s mortgage business, the purchase has drawn a drumbeat of regulatory fines, lawsuits and losses.

you know? this sounds familiar? as if this has been done before. hold on.....

McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing, McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years. Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking came to my office. He scheduled the meeting as an “account analysis” meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them.

“Can I possible save you some time so that you don’t waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer what my business.”

    “That is correct” he says.

This is nothing new, Joe Sirochman is a moron for banking with them. Even I remembered something about this.

If I could convince them to sell my mortgage to another bank, I would do so. But I am stuck with them until they sell it, 25 more years pass, I buy a new house or I pay the note in full.

I don't agree with that, as that's the legal systems decision. And BOA is the LAST thing to be acting as if they were the police.

But will I be boycotting them? No. They've done much more heinous things than this.

I quit doing business with BofA long before this happened.

Anyway you cut it the amounts to restraint of trade. I hope the gun seller takes the back to court and sues the helll out of them.

They pulled this stunt in Az...LMAO! BofA has a HUGE problem. That's gun Country.

They did the same thing to McMillan Brothers a few years ago. Their loss. Companies can take their money elsewhere.

I wouldn't use BOA anyway under any circumstances. They are an unAmerican institution.

Some clown posted something on a Facebook page and you are accepting it at face value, without any kind of confirmation that his claims are true?
