Sims 3 Supernatural: Week 3 of playing, still no zombies? Is this normal?
I have read that from other users experiences, that zombies are a real pain in the you-know-what. Well, I am looking forward to that as I haven't had a single zombie come up to my house...not one! And it's about week 3 of playing and I still have one yet to spawn. From what I read once they start they don't stop coming and one person even reported to having them spawn like mad in river view but not in moonlight falls.
Well I'm playing in moonlight falls and I haven't had a single one spawn. I even turned up the population a little and at best I've seen 2 zombies..how boring! I love zombies, but this expansion pack is feeling like a boring let down as I haven't had a single piece of action since. How can I get some fun and get these guys spawning so I can actually have a challenge here? They don't even bother my sim. Sure it was fun to see them at first - but that was all gone within the first 2 minutes as soon as I realized that they're boring and don't do anything to my sim at all =\ Can anyone help with this? Because it's annoying to see them just walk around..i can't even have the adrenaline rush of avoiding them...T_T Thanks! I have been searching on solutions on how to get a zombie attack going, but so far no one has provided any answers, just that they randomly spawn and are annoying...
I forgot to add that I have a gate around my house, but it's not locked. It's just there because of the paparazzi that like to hang around. Keeps those "pests" out ;)

I know what you're talking about. There was an update to the game. Before the update, zombies were spawning on my lot like crazy, it was very annoying but after the update, I rarely have zombies anymore. I'm not saying it has something to do with the update but maybe. You can check you game options settings. There is an option for population control where you can check the beings you want to populate your world. I'm not sure if zombies is an option but you can still check.

That's not how zombies work in the Sims. They don't attack your sims (at most, they make them faint). They are apparently vegetarian because they will eat plants from your garden. Mostly they just rise out of the ground when there is a full moon and hang around until sunrise. I've had them spawn at the festival lot (from Seasons) and they had a water balloon fight with me, lol.
What you read about them continuously spawning is old news. EA fixed that with a patch. Now they come and go as intended, and there are only 2 or 3 - and only on a full moon.
