    exterior angle measure + interior angle measure = 180 {linear pair}

    Then if x is interior angle measure, then .25x + x = 180

    5/4 x = 180

    x = 36*4 = 144 degrees

    To check, the exterior must be 144/4 = 36, and 144+36 = 180

    So interoir is 144 and exterior is 36
