Switching to homeschooling...?
I want to be home-schooled and my parents agreed, but we are clueless as to where to start or what to do. We live in Texas, and I understand that it is pretty easy being homeschooled in Texas.
What would we have to do? As much info would be appreciated.

Texas is one of the best states to homeschool in! Congrats on making such a great decision. I love not being tied to the the public school calendar, it's so freeing!
I suggest picking up a copy of The Well Trained Mind. There's plenty of good homeschooling advice in that book, there are also curriculum suggestions. Alternatively, you could going the free forum http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/index.php and ask all the questions you want. It's a VERY active forum, I can't recommend it enough!
