What was this mini-series?
Okay -- I've asked this before and gotten no answers. We shall try again.
NBC mini-series, early-to-mid '90's.
Focused on a "backwoods" sort of family with 3 or 4 daughters. Took place late 1800's, early 1900's.
One scene I remember had one girl slipping off her shoes before running away from a man.
Another scene took place after one of the daughters had married - it was the christening of their son, and they named him Resolve.
This has been driving me nuts. Please help!

Are you referring to "The Awakening Land"? There's a character of a boy named "Resolve" and he's the main sister's son. It's been shown on TV a few times.
