What would a General Operator at Apple Inc do?

My friend got that position and I was wondering what the job entails and what the functions of a General operator were

Because he has no college qualification at all but yet he has landed this job which to me seems pretty high tech

Maybe its not (I don't know)

    There is, over 600 openings, no open job position for Gereral Operator at Apple Inc. therefore unable to find a description or qualifications required. If you want more information on this job ask your friend what area of Apple Inc is he working i.e. retail, customer service at call center etc.
