    I'll help you, but I'm not giving you the answer. This is Homework HELP. Not Homework Answers.

    3(x+4) >= x-2

    Distribute 3 to (x-4). 3x+12 >= x-2

    Add -12 to both sides side of the equation. 3x+12+(-12) >= x-2+(-12) = 3x >= x-14.

    Add -x to both sides. 3x-x >= x-14-x = 2x >= -14

    You tell me the answer now, using basic math.

    EDIT: Whoopsie, when I edited this last, forgot to change the 10s to 14s.
